In February 2024 an online questionnaire (Figure 1) was circulated to CYCLOPES partners to gain information, who participates in which standardis ation committees. For completing the questionnaire CYCLOPES partners were instructed to also consult colleagues from other departments in their organization. CYCLOPES partners were also made aware, that the participation in Technical Com mittees of CEN, CENELEC, ISO and IEC follows the “national delegation principle” (see Annex A: Standardisation overview ), e.g. in Germany ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27 is mirrored by the DIN NA 043 -04 -27 AA, Informationssicherheit, Cybersicherheit und Datenschutz; in Belgium ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27 is mirrored by AGORIA AGORIA-ICT and in The Netherlands by NEN’s normcommissie ‘Cybersecurity & Privacy’. In other standardisation bodies like ETSI, individual experts and organizations participate directly without being nominated by a National Standardisation Body. Eight partners answered this questionnaire, including partners representing Law Enforcement Agencies. The standardisation communities in which they participate are shown in Figure 2 with the number of CYCLOPES partners.
Austrian Standards (Fri,) studied this question.
