This peer-reviewed study explores medical students’ perceptions of presentations in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) classes at a Bulgarian medical university. Using a mixed-methods approach, it examines how presentation tasks support vocabulary acquisition, fluency, confidence, and oral communication while also considering anxiety and structural challenges. The findings suggest that student presentations are an effective pedagogical tool in Medical English teaching, especially when supported by peer feedback, rehearsal, and structured guidance.
