This article examines the role of literary texts in developing socially active citizenship and patriotic values among primary school students. The study provides a scientific and pedagogical analysis of modern methodological approaches to using literary works in reading literacy lessons. It highlights interactive teaching methods, the didactic potential of literary texts, and the pedagogical conditions that foster students’ national values, civic responsibility, and social engagement. The findings are aimed at improving the quality of primary education and supporting the moral and ethical development of learners.
