In this paper, we propose a virtual sensing algorithm using the simultaneous equation method for feedforward active noise control. The simultaneous equation method is an algorithm for ANC systems that operates without a secondary path model, and by using it for virtual sensing, noise reduction can be achieved without installing microphones at the desired locations. By using the relative path filter based virtual sensing, it is possible to obtain the signal components necessary to establish the simultaneous equation method. Simulations using actual impulse responses demonstrate that the simultaneous equation method works even in configurations that use virtual sensing.
