This study examined user perception on the role of landscape elements in supporting wayfinding and institutional identity at Caleb University, Imota, Lagos State. The study was motivated by the increasing spatial complexity of university campuses and the need for landscape features to contribute more effectively to navigation and place identity. A quantitative approach was adopted using a structured questionnaire administered to 225 respondents. Data were analyzed using frequency and percentage distribution. The findings showed that although many respondents considered the campus generally easy to navigate, a considerable number had experienced difficulty locating specific places. Buildings used as landmarks and walkways were identified as the most important aids to navigation, while vegetation and open spaces played a less significant role. The findings also revealed that landscape elements contribute significantly to campus identity. The study concludes that landscape elements at Caleb University support wayfinding and identity, but their potential has not been fully optimized. It recommends stronger landmark features, clearer walkway systems, better integration of vegetation into navigation, and improved supporting signage.
