Archaeological evaluation (eight trial-trenches) carried out as specified in the project brief and WSI. An archaeological evaluation (seven trial-trenches) was carried out at Hatches Farm, Hatches Farm Road, Little Burstead, Billericay, Essex in advance of the construction of six new dwellings. Despite being located adjacent to a Grade II listed building and within an area of archaeological potential, the evaluation revealed no significant archaeological remains. The only feature present was a modern brick wall foundation built on a concrete base.
