Recruitment can be considered as one of the most significant functions performed by Human Resource Management department, all the more critical in Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) industry where performance of an organization depends largely on its manpower strength. A number of organizational and strategic factors influence recruitment drive effectiveness, determining how well, how quickly and how efficiently new employees are recruited. The present study has been undertaken to identify key factors affecting recruitment drive effectiveness in an IT-enabled service company. This study aims to particularly focus on impact of workforce planning, job analysis & job description, sourcing strategy and technology in recruitment on recruitment drive effectiveness. Descriptive research design has been followed. Primary and Secondary Data has been considered for compiling the requisite information for accomplishing the objectives of the study. Primary data has been collected from 102 employees by using a structured questionnaire on the basis of five-point Likert scale and secondary data related to the study has been gathered from journals, books, research articles, online sources focusing on recruitment and Human resource management. For arriving at conclusions, Statistical tools like percentage analysis, Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, regression analysis, ‘t’test, reliability analysis and ANOVA has been applied through the use of SPSS software.Findings of the study indicate that sourcing strategy and technology adoption during recruitment process has significant positive impact on recruitment drive effectiveness. Results conclude that effective recruitment practices assist organizations in attracting quality talent and enable organizations to minimize the time required to hire candidates besides enhancing recruitment efficiency. Study proposes that organizations should focus on latest technology adaptation and proper sourcing strategies to improve recruitment strength and organizational performance.
