To address the challenges of learning organic reactions, which can be tedious and difficult to apply flexibly, this study designed a card-based teaching game called “OrgaChem Deck.” The core of the game lies in simulating the logical reasoning process of organic synthesis through a card system that includes group cards and substance cards. It guides learners to actively combine cards in a competitive setting to understand and apply organic reactions, thereby transforming fragmented knowledge into dynamic connections. Teaching practice has shown that participating students not only deepened their understanding of reaction principles through the game but also experienced a significant increase in learning interest and classroom engagement. According to student feedback, the game has been widely recognized for promoting knowledge integration, cultivating strategic thinking, and enhancing the learning experience, providing an effective complement to traditional teaching methods.
