This article investigates the differences between Irony in Uzbek and English literary traditions. In general,irony is an important literary device in which words and expressions are used to express the opposite of their original meaning. This article shows a comparative analysis of Irony in Uzbek and English Linguistics based on leading academic research. English irony is a powerful tool for social bonding among who share an understanding and relies on profound reflexivity, while irony in the Uzbek language is distinguished by its emotional resonance and its adherence to moral imperatives. The role of irony in modern communication is also explained in the article.
