This working paper presents a multi-dimensional framework for understanding human cognitive and behavioral diversity. It synthesizes Robert Kegan's constructive-developmental theory, Elliott Jaques's Stratified Systems Theory, Self-Determination Theory, and Polyvagal Theory into a three-axis Dynamic Positioning System. The framework maps individuals across a Tier Axis (developmental capacity), a State Axis (physiological regulation), and a Context Axis (social architecture), arguing that behavior is never simply a product of fixed developmental stage but of the interaction between these three dimensions. The paper includes cross-cultural stress-testing against Ubuntu, Confucian, and post-conflict contexts, a shadow dimension analysis of behavior under acute stress, and a full ethical architecture governing responsible application. All primary sources are cited. This is an independent working paper and has not undergone formal peer review. Comments and citations are welcome.
