TRANSARC is a web-based collaborative environment developed to support transdisciplinary teaching and learning in architectural education. The platform integrates diverse architectural subjects—including design, structures, construction, environmental systems, and representation—through shared case studies focused on collective housing buildings. By connecting learning activities across disciplines, TRANSARC encourages students to develop systemic competences such as research skills, creativity, autonomous learning, and collaborative work. The pedagogical model is structured around five categories of learning activities: describing, representing, assembling, projecting, and experiencing, enabling students to approach architectural analysis from multiple perspectives. Built upon previous educational platforms such as SDR: NET, OIKODOMOS Workspaces, and THINKINGDWELLING, the ARCLASS environment provides adaptable digital spaces for courses, learning activities, tasks, submissions, and peer-to-peer or teacher-led review processes. Student work is collaboratively assessed through a multi-stage publication workflow that includes review, feedback, resubmission, and selection for dissemination in the public TRANSARC portal. In this way, the repository functions not only as a learning management system but also as a curated publication archive showcasing exemplary student analyses and reflections on architecture and urban issues.
