This article explores modern methodological approaches to teaching Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL) within the framework of contemporary pedagogical theory. The study analyzes the structural organization of Russian language lessons, communicative and activity-based teaching methods, as well as algorithmic and heuristic approaches to grammar instruction. Special attention is devoted to the adaptation of traditional Russian methodological principles for multilingual and international educational environments. The article demonstrates that successful RFL instruction requires the integration of linguistic accuracy, communicative competence, cognitive engagement, and systematic exercise design. The research concludes that combining traditional and innovative teaching strategies contributes to the development of effective and student-centered language learning.
