E-Government, also referred to as E-Governance in some scholarly works, is a modern governance approach that integrates Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) into public administration processes. Its primary objective is to enhance the efficiency, transparency, accountability, and cost-effectiveness of government operations while improving service delivery and citizen engagement. By leveraging digital technologies, governments can streamline administrative procedures, reduce bureaucratic delays, and provide more accessible and responsive public services. According to Alshehri et al. (2021), E-Government facilitates improved communication between government institutions and the general public, thereby strengthening trust and participation in governance. Similarly, Vertika (2013) emphasizes that the adoption of ICT in government operations leads to more effective service delivery and improved governance outcomes. This study examines the conceptual foundations of E-Government and its role in transforming traditional public administration into a more efficient and citizen-centered system. It highlights how digital transformation contributes to better governance practices and enhanced public service delivery in contemporary society
