The article discusses the main approaches to identifying problems in the process of management consulting. The classification of problem areas has been carried out. The article analyzes the contradictions faced by modern Russian management consulting, identified by a detailed examination of the economic situation of the functioning of organizations. The hierarchical structure of target programs has been studied using the task tree construction method to effectively address management issues. The practice of management consulting in the Russian market shows an increased complexity of staff coordination, which creates additional difficulties in the administrative management system. The factors of constructive problem solving in the field of management consulting based on a systematic approach and structural diagnostics are determined.
