This article examines the main methods of translating English expressions into Uzbek. Translation is not only a linguistic process but also a cultural one, as many English expressions contain figurative and idiomatic meanings that require special attention in translation. The article discusses several important translation methods, including literal translation, equivalent translation, descriptive translation, adaptation, and borrowing. Each method is explained with examples and analysis of its effectiveness in preserving meaning and style.
