The article explores the role of music education in the development of students’ creative abilities from pedagogical and psychological perspectives. In modern education systems, the formation of creative skills is considered one of the key priority areas. In this regard, music education serves as an important tool for developing students’ aesthetic worldview, emotional intelligence, creative thinking, and individual expression skills. The study analyzes the impact of musical activities on students’ cognitive abilities, problem-solving skills, communicative relationships, and the formation of aesthetic appreciation. The article also discusses the organization of music lessons in schools, the application of interactive teaching methods, and the importance of approaches based on creative activity. It is emphasized that singing, rhythm exercises, music listening, improvisation, and collective musical activities strengthen students’ independent thinking and self-expression skills. Music education is evaluated not only as a means of aesthetic upbringing but also as a complex pedagogical process that positively influences students’ intellectual and social development.
