This skills audit was conducted within the Chief Directorate: Engineering Services (CD: Engineering Services) of the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS). It supports DWS's commitment to developing a skilled and capable workforce, aligning with broader national directives articulated in the State of the Nation Address (SONA) regarding public service professionalization and the goals of the National Development Plan (NDP) 2030, as well as the Department's own strategic objectives related to water security and infrastructure management.
