This article examines current challenges in ensuring the financial stability of commercial banks in the Republic of Uzbekistan amid the transformation of the national economy and modernization of the banking sector. It examines the key factors influencing the stability of the country's banking system, analyzes existing methods for assessing the financial stability of banks, and examines their application in Uzbek commercial banks. Particular attention is paid to capital adequacy, liquidity, asset quality, digitalization of banking, and the implementation of international banking regulatory standards.
