For outdoor machinery such as crawler cranes, effective safety systems are required to prevent hazardous events like overturning or overload operation. Utilizing operation simulators for tasks like material handling, employing VR technology, is considered an effective design and development environment for this purpose. This research developed a highly detailed and practical operation training simulator on UE5 to consider actual accident occurring process and to provide various experiences of materials handling operations for avoiding harm. Furthermore, by measuring visual-related physiological characteristics during simulation, it verifies the impact of the realism of the experience in the VR space on the fatigue level and operational characteristics of machine operators.
