Against the backdrop of cultural confidence becoming a national strategy, the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage faces challenges such as a lack of successors and cognitive gaps. Art education, with its aesthetic and practical aspects, has become an important bridge connecting intangible cultural heritage with contemporary times. This article is based on the perspective of cultural confidence. Firstly, it elaborates on the value implications of the integration of intangible cultural heritage inheritance and art education, and proposes three practical paths: the construction of a school local collaborative network, the integration of experiential and project-based learning, and the collaborative cultivation of composite talents. The aim is to inject educational vitality into intangible cultural heritage inheritance, cultivate cultural roots for art education, and ultimately serve the cultivation and promotion of cultural confidence.
