ABSTRACT This review systematically examines design strategies, performance optimization, and applications of polymeric materials in flexible electronics. Leveraging their tunable structures, solution processability, and mechanical compliance, polymers are established as a core platform for innovation. The article details material designs, including intrinsically stretchable polymers, conductive composites, and backbone engineering, while analyzing how mechanical, electrical, and interfacial properties dictate device performance. Key applications span flexible displays, energy systems, sensors, logic devices, and bio‐integrated electronics. Furthermore, the review critically assesses challenges hindering practical deployment, such as biocompatibility, scalability, and long‐term stability. Finally, it outlines future perspectives on multi‐functional integration, sustainable design, and advanced manufacturing, aiming to provide theoretical guidance for developing high‐performance, reliable, and eco‐friendly next‐generation devices.
