Abstract Contemporary consciousness science has long been confined to the dualistic framework of matter and consciousness. Classical neuroscience entirely reduces consciousness to neuroelectrophysiological activities, ignoring the global correlation, self-referential awareness, and spatiotemporal transcendence of consciousness. Although existing quantum consciousness theories introduce field-oriented perspectives, they remain deeply constrained by material carrier assumptions and fail to reasonably explain consciousness conservation, out-of-body perception, and other anomalous conscious phenomena, lacking a self-consistent ontological foundation and quantifiable mathematical system. Based on the ontological framework of Order Ontology of the 14-Order Unified Field Theory (14FT), this paper reconstructs the original definition, hierarchical structure, and manifestation mechanism of consciousness. This study proposes a core argument: consciousness is the self-referential manifestation of a high-dimensional ordered information field, and the human brain merely serves as a biological receiving and phase-converting terminal adapted to biological dimensions for the consciousness field. By constructing a three-layer nested order-state model and standardized field-coupling mathematical equations, this paper systematically elaborates the core laws of consciousness manifestation, phase locking, ontological conservation, and global resonance. The proposed framework provides a complete theoretical interpretation for typical unexplained conscious phenomena, including sleep and anesthesia-induced perceptual suppression, brain-damage cognitive disorders, near-death out-of-body experiences, intuitive inspiration, and collective subconsciousness. This research establishes a logically self-consistent, empirically verifiable, and falsifiable theoretical system of consciousness, offering an original unified-field paradigm for consciousness science, cognitive neuroscience, and ontological philosophy.
