This study is part of an ongoing Postdoctoral research and aimed to analyze paths built for educational inclusion through the Brazilian Inclusion Law (LBI) in its articles 27, 28 and 30 of chapter IV, which deals with the rights to education of Person with disability (PwD). The research method used was documentary research of legal acts produced in the LBI that refer to the topic addressed. The results indicate that after approximately ten years of progress towards inclusive education, as indicated by the LBI, intensive monitoring, incentive and guidance work is still needed in order to raise awareness among the population and educational institutions to respect and implement everything that is written and required in the LBI. We conclude that a careful look at compliance with the law is necessary, the creation of laws is extremely necessary to guarantee the rights of people with disabilities, as these are not very valid if they are not well disseminated, monitored and discussed. Hard work is needed to publicize and propagate the ideas put forward and ensure that they are properly monitored. However, the legislative advances that Brazil has been making in pursuit of an increasingly inclusive society are already showing positive results in education and society.
