The textile industry plays an important role in the industrial and economic development of India, especially in Ahmedabad, which is known as one of the major textile hubs of the country. The present study aims to evaluate and compare the financial performance of selected textile manufacturing units in Ahmedabad. The study is based on secondary data collected from the annual reports of selected companies for a period of five financial years from 2020–21 to 2024–25. The selected companies for the study are Arvind Limited, Jindal Worldwide Limited, and Mafatlal Industries Limited. Ratio analysis techniques such as Current Ratio, Net Profit Margin, and Return on Assets were used to measure the liquidity and profitability position of the companies. ANOVA technique was applied to examine the significance of differences among the selected companies. The findings of the study indicate that Jindal Worldwide Limited performed better in terms of liquidity and profitability compared to the other selected textile manufacturing units.
