The necessity of multidisciplinary approach is becoming more and more demanding in this era of superspecialization, microspecialization, consumer claims and the increasing consumers knowledge regarding consulting doctors for their disease. “Health is a complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of the disease” the definition as per the World Health Organization can be attained only when multidisciplinary approach is adopted universally. Innovations in diagnostics and therapeutics are being addressed by biomedical and chemical engineering for medical health sciences as well as allied health sciences. Various approaches for universal health include medical, behavioral, educational, social, integrative, and public health. Empowerment, self-care management, and community health with technological support have gained momentum with the development of digital health technology. Educational approach benefits many in delivering specific needs of individual community and nation as a whole. Journal of Multidisciplinary Health and Innovative Technology (JMHIT) achieves the goal of spreading the knowledge regarding universal health by promoting the publication of manuscripts under medical, dental, allied health sciences and innovations in engineering and technology. Integration of various disciplines is necessary to tackle the health problems by holistic approach. The need for such an approach is increasingly recognized by policy makers, funding agencies, and educationalists whom are encouraging multidisciplinary collaborations. In this inaugural issue, the manuscripts from all disciplines are included which throw light on various aspect of human health. The articles are exceptional in that the allied health sciences show case their role in the management of health issues in clinical cases too. Among the innovative managements, the usage of chorionic membrane in addition to platelet-rich plasma in socket preservation of the third molar after surgery by dental health sciences is very much appreciable. Severe sepsis associated with intra cesarean intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD) placement opens the eyes of the obstetricians for encountering such a devastating condition and the role of imaging in diagnosing cesarean scar defect and warns when to avoid the placement of IUCD. The manuscripts on curriculum and teaching methodology show the involvement of multidisciplinary team’s enthusiasm toward education. The editorial team of JMHIT welcomes the readers for the inaugural issue of JMHIT 2025 and invites manuscripts in various disciplines and support the journal in its endeavors.
