The article examines agricultural land resources and mechanisms of their regulation within regional agrarian policy in the Russian Federation. Based on official statistical data and regulatory documents for 2022–2026, the study analyzes the dynamics of agricultural land, land use patterns and major regulatory instruments. Particular attention is paid to bringing unused land into economic circulation, land reclamation, digital land management, cadastral-tax regulation and subsidy mechanisms. Using the cases of Belgorod Region, the Republic of Adygea and Altai Krai, regional features of land policy are identified. It is substantiated that improving the efficiency of land regulation is associated with better monitoring, soil fertility reproduction and development of digital governance mechanisms.
