Abstract

Fusarium graminearum causes Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) on wheat which can cause significant yield loss and mycotoxin contamination. The goal of this research was to test four conventional fungicides on two soft red winter wheat cultivars (Triticum aestivum, FS 624 and Kitchen Seed 423). This trial was conducted at two locations in Champaign County, Illinois during the 2024-2025 growing season. The results of this study will help growers understand the effects of cultivar and fungicide treatments on FHB management, enabling improved management strategies.
