The entire research paper isbased on secondary data. The district's development blocks were used asthe unit of study. A composite index (Z-Score) and statistical methodswere used to measure development level and assess disparities. Interregionaldisparities were observed in various development blocks of thedistrict. The development blocks of Nindra, Banki, Trivediganj, andHarakh, located in the western part of the district and borderingLucknow, were found to be in a developed state in terms of agriculturaldevelopment, while the situation in the northern and eastern areas ofDalai, Suratganj, and Banikodar, located in the eastern region, isextremely poor. Most of the district's development blocks fall into theunderdeveloped and backward category. Therefore, for sustainableagricultural development, infrastructure facilities should be establishedkeeping in mind the regional disparities, and special strategies andtechniques should be developed and adopted for backward areas.
