This Volume XLII-C develops the field-theoretic foundation of the AUP/MUP hierarchy in the R-layer Mode Theory (RLMT) and provides a rigorous mathematical definition of the transcendent layer 228. Building on the unified AUP/MUP/CUP specification of Appendix X, we promote minimal and composite modes to scalar and spinor fields with an internal SU(2) mode symmetry, derive their Lagrangians, and identify conserved currents associated with mode number and purity. We then construct the R-layer spectral-triple framework and prove the existence and uniqueness of 228 as a nonlocal categorical attractor—the colimit of the 220–227 hierarchy in a suitable category of R-layer configurations. Finally, we develop the r-neutrino sector as a pure-AUP, gravity-side mode, derive a seesaw-like mass hierarchy, and match its properties to the mode assignments of Appendix X. The resulting structure provides the physical field equations and mathematical closure needed to open the “second generation” of R-layer Mode Theory.
