Ushbu maqolada zamonaviy o‘zbek she’riyatida lirik subyektning o‘zini inkor etish hodisasi badiiy-psixologik va estetik nuqtayi nazardan tahlil qilinadi. “Men emas” she’ri misolida shoirning ruhiy kechinmalari, o‘zlikni anglash va begonalashuv holatlari psixologik lirika tamoyillari asosida tadqiq etiladi. Asarda takror (anafora), parallelizm va ritmik tuzilma orqali ruhiy intensivlik bosqichma-bosqich kuchayib borishi ko‘rsatilgan. Maqolada shuningdek, obrazlar tizimidagi psixologik transformatsiyalar “qo‘l”, “yo‘l”, “tush”, “oyna”, “orzular” kabi timsollarning ichki ruhiy jarayonlarni ifodalashdagi o‘rni yoritiladi. Xulosa sifatida, “men”ning inkori, inson o‘zligini izlash, hisni tafakkur orqali anglash, ya’ni badiiy psixologizmning yuqori bosqichi sifatida talqin qilinadi.
