Alaa Al-Bukhari’s Objections to Opponents on Issues of Prophethood in His Book ‘Sharh Al-Fiqh Al-Akbar’ (The Condition of Male Gender for Prophets and the Denial of the Prophethood of Our Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him) Case Study

This research aims to study the objections of Imam Alaa Al-Deen Al-Bukhari as presented in his book ‘Sharh Al-Fiqh Al-Akbar’ against the opponents. This book is considered one of the most prominent commentaries in which Imam Alaa addressed the matters of Islamic belief. In this work, I have included a brief overview of his biography, and I have chosen examples of his objections to the opponents such as the matter of his objection to those who claim that women are prophets, as well as his denial of the People of the Book’s stance regarding the prophethood of our prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Finally, I have included several conclusions outlining most prominent results reached throughout the study.
