Abstract

Background Good glycemic control is important in preventing the onset and progression of diabetes-related complications. Significant proportion of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in Nigeria continue to experience suboptimal control. This study determines the prevalence and determinants of good glycemic control among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus attending the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu.
