Indian knowledge system has both heterodox and orthodox philosophies to understand nature, world, self and existence. There are some similarity in both types of philosophises such as to live happy life, freedom from suffering and to achieve ultimate goal of life as per different philosophies. Sankhya philosophy as a part of six school of orthodox philosophies is focused on mainly two concept unconscious prakrati (nature) & conscious purush (self, atman) and through these two concept, Sankhya describes world, life, nature and suggests a way to be free from attachment and suffering. This paper describes relevancy of Sankhya philosophy in developing value education by integration it in modern education with different subjects to enhance different types of value on the basis of secondary data.
