Retail companies are now using Business Analytics and Big Data tools to understand this information and convert it into useful insights for improving sales, customer satisfaction, and efficiency. This study focuses on how Business Analytics and Big Data are being used in the retail industry, especially in the Indian context. It explains how retailers collect and analyze data from different sources to understand customer buying patterns, predict future demand, and improve marketing strategies. The main processes involved include data collection, data mining, forecasting, predictive analysis, and data visualization, which help businesses make more informed decisions. The study also looks at important Big Data components such as data sources, storage systems, real-time processing, messaging systems, and data security. A quantitative research approach was used, and the results show that data analysis, real-time processing, and messaging systems play an important role in improving retail performance. However, data sources, storage, and security factors were found to have less direct impact on performance.Overall, the study highlights that Big Data and Business Analytics are essential for modern retail businesses. They help companies better understand customers, improve operations, and stay competitive in a fast-changing market
