A BSTRACT Adult intussusception is a rare clinical entity, accounting for only 5% of all intussusceptions and often associated with a malignant lead point. We report the case of a 73-year-old male presenting with subacute intestinal obstruction. Imaging and endoscopy revealed a colocolic intussusception at the hepatic flexure triggered by an infiltrating adenocarcinoma of the ascending colon. The patient underwent a successful laparoscopic-assisted right hemicolectomy with extracorporeal ileotransverse anastomosis. This case highlights the feasibility of minimally invasive oncologic resection in the setting of adult intussusception.
