India's secondary and tertiary care hospitals continue to operate under paper-intensive workflows: appointment registers filled by hand, prescription slips carried between counters, and diagnostic reports collected in person. These practices impose friction on patients, generate transcription errors, and exclude those who cannot physically access the facility.
