Abstract This work examines the limits of applying physical laws to energetic and sub‑energetic fields, arguing that each plane of reality possesses its own non‑universal rules. The text proposes the existence of an informational field underlying the energetic field — a field responsible for animating energy and matter. Consciousness is reframed not as identification but as resonance with this deeper plane. The photon is described as an intrinsic informational vector, suggesting an interiority at the foundation of light and energy. The text develops a hierarchical ontology of interiority → animation → energy → matter, presenting interiority as total compressed information from which reality emerges OpenAIRE Description (Extended) Obviously It Doesn’t Work develops a speculative yet coherent ontology of fields, proposing that physical laws cannot be applied across different planes of reality. The work introduces an informational field beneath the energetic field, responsible for animating energy and structuring matter. Consciousness is conceptualized as a resonance field that receives and distributes information from the plane of animation. The photon is reinterpreted as an informational carrier possessing intrinsic interiority. The text outlines a multi‑layered model — interiority, animation, energy, matter — and argues that interiority constitutes a universal informational matrix from which all phenomena emerge. The work contributes to discussions on informational physics, ontology of consciousness, liminality, and the architecture of emergent reality.
