Financial inclusion has emerged as an important instrument for promoting women’s empowerment and inclusive development. However, access to financial services does not always ensure financial autonomy and effective participation in financial decision-making. Against this background, the present study examines the relationship between financial inclusion and financial empowerment among women in Odisha using secondary data from the National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5), 2019–21. The study adopts a descriptive and analytical research design and uses percentage analysis, gap analysis, and cross-group comparison to assess women’s financial inclusion and empowerment.
