Abstract: Buddhism is a very old and important religion that has been around for a major effects on people. It has had an effect on religion, philosophy, thinking about morals, ethics and culture in very important ways. The Supreme Buddha was a good communicator. Thus, the Buddhist communication is more unique than other forms of communication. It shows tendency towards interpersonal communication and mass communication. This research paper examines the connection between Buddhist communication and Digital era. The basic Buddhist teachings including communication techniques used by the supreme Buddha, his preaching methods, using of audiovisual media in Buddhist communication and Buddhist communication ethics etc. Then the paper analyze how these Buddhist teachings influence for the building a strong Buddhist communication system among his followers. After this research paper examines how this Buddhist communication and its teachings spread among the people via modern technology in the digital age. This study of Buddhist communication in the digital age which concentrated on qualitative research method. The study was conducted by primary sources, secondary sources and others. In this way, this research carried out using Vinaya Pitaka and Sutta Pitaka as primary sources and books, journal articles, conference proceedings and internet resources as secondary sources. The main objective of this research article is examining the role of contemporary technology in promoting the Buddhism. The finding of this research is the modern technology has been influenced for the Buddhist communication in the Digital Age.
