Assessment of the extent to which the proposed works will affecr the listed building and nearby heritage assets. It is proposed to construct a two-storey extension to the rear of 31 Craven Street, a Georgian townhouse located immediately adjacent to Charing Cross Station, City of Westminster. The building is currently used as a multiple-occupancy residential building and as such, has been extensively modified in order to fulfil this role. The extension will be located to the rear of the building, alongside an existing modern extension. The proposal will not affect the special character of the building or how it can be experienced. Additionally, there will be no impact on the Trafalgar Square Conservation Area in which Craven Street is located, or how this can be experienced and appreciated..
