Jupi Zhuru Decoction Combined with Fu's Subcutaneous Needling in Treating Chemotherapy-related Gastrointestinal Reactions in Breast Cancer Patients

• The aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of Jupi Zhuru Decoction combined with Fu's subcutaneous needling in reducing chemotherapy-related gastrointestinal reactions in breast cancer patients.
• 88 breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy were randomly assigned to treatment and control groups, each with 44 patients.
• Both groups received a triplet antiemetic regimen before chemotherapy; the treatment group additionally received Jupi Zhuru Decoction and subcutaneous needling for 26 days.

• The treatment group showed a lower incidence of delayed nausea and vomiting compared to the control group (P<0.05).
• Post-treatment, levels of motilin, CD3+, and CD4+ were higher in the treatment group, whereas levels of gastrin and CD8+ were lower than in the control group (P<0.05).
• The treatment group exhibited superior improvements in vomiting quality of life (FLIE score) and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scoring compared to the control group (P<0.05).
