Higher education institutions, particularly colleges, play a vital role in achieving this vision by fostering innovation, research, skill development, and social responsibility. Colleges serve as centers of knowledge creation, human capital development, and technological advancement. They also help bridge socio-economic gaps by providing inclusive education and promoting sustainable development. This paper explores the key contributions of colleges toward achieving the goals of Viksit Bharat 2047, including research and innovation, skill development, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and community engagement.
