Abstract With increased globalization of the economy, growing interest in internationalization of the curriculum, and employer desire to hire graduates with some international education, the demand for international courses will continue to rise. This study presents the results of survey research comparing what is now taught in international accounting courses with what chief financial officers feel should be taught. The results are important to individuals teaching international accounting, individuals considering teaching an international accounting course, and individuals that advise accounting students.
