Abstract This paper describes a tutorial built-in simulation software to be used as an Instructional aid in financial accounting courses. The software provides the Instructor with a tool to design an unlimited number of practice sets or problems that Involve the accounting cycle. “Selftutoring” and “self-grading” are two of the unique features of the software. The use of the software increases students' productivity, enhances their learning, and saves considerable instructional time.
