This work, dedicated to the centenary of Vladimir Vernadsky's The Biosphere, is a philosophical and futurological essay on the possible applied significance of the Carbon Shadow Tier (CST) hypothesis. The author does not propose a strict scientific program and does not claim that CST has been proven. The aim of the work is to show that this hypothesis, originally developed to explain the origin of life, contains principles that may be reinterpreted as foundations for the biological adaptation of humans to deep space. The work builds on the Resonance Theory of Evolution (RTE) and the CST hypothesis, detailed in previous publications of the DeepPopov project. The first part examines three figures of cosmic thought — Tsiolkovsky, Vernadsky, and Hawking — and identifies their common blind spot: the absence of a biological mechanism for the transition to cosmic existence. The second part analyzes the radiation barrier as the main obstacle to long-distance spaceflight and proposes an alternative to the traditional protection paradigm — adaptation to radiation based on principles inferred from CST. The third part outlines possible research directions — from laboratory models to their potential application — and discusses the ethical conditions of such work, including the distinction between implants as prostheses and the resonant tandem as voluntary coherence. The work does not claim the status of a scientific theory or a roadmap. It is an invitation to reflect on how a hypothesis about Earth's distant past may unexpectedly point the way toward humanity's future beyond it.
