This document is Falkland Islands Executive Order 01 (FIEO01), issued by the Head of State of the Republic of the Falklands Islands under the authority vested by the Constitution of the Republic of the Falkland Islands and the Law of the Falkland Islands. FIEO01 establishes a provisional legal system for the Republic of the Falkland Islands and definitively terminates all ‘Crown’ jurisdiction within its territory. It declares the legal nullity of the ‘United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland’, the ‘Crown’, and associated entities (including the 'Duchies of Cornwall and Lancaster' and the 'City of London Corporation') as they relate to the Falkland Islands. The Order: Abolishes the application of 'English common law', 'admiralty law', and other ‘Crown’-derived legal fictions within the Republic; Re‑promulgates a range of existing statutes and regulations (traffic safety, environmental protection, property rights, etc.) as Provisional RFI Regulations, subject to the Constitution and the Law of the Falklands Islands; Orders all courts and judicial officers to cease proceedings in the name of the 'Crown' and to take an oath of allegiance to the Constitution of the Falkland Islands; Transfers all police forces into the Falkland Islands Civil Guard and abolishes 'Crown' immunity; Asserts the Republic’s ownership of all taxes, duties, and levies previously paid to 'UK' authorities; Reaffirms the Republic’s commitment to international human rights obligations and invites Unites Nations observers; Recognises the Republic of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (RGBNI), the Republic of Gibraltar (RG) and the state of Earth (soE) as sovereign, independent states, and declares the intention to maintain full diplomatic relations with them. Declares the intention to join the Global Government Association and to adopt the Constitution of Earth. FIEO01 is a foundational legal instrument of the Republic of the Falkland Islands, completing the transition from a 'Crown'-dependent territory to a fully sovereign state. Together with the Constitution of the Republic of the Falkland Islands, it provides the legal architecture for effective governance, the rule of law, and the protection of fundamental rights.
