OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to explore the correlation between the serum uric acid-to-creatinine ratio (SUA/Scr) and the severity of coronary artery lesions in coronary heart disease (CHD) patients, and evaluate its predictive value for lesion severity. RESULTS: Among 528 CHD patients, SUA/Scr showed a stepwise increase with worsening coronary lesion severity, with significant differences in all pairwise comparisons (all P < 0.05). Multivariate logistic regression revealed SUA/Scr as an independent risk factor for severe lesions (OR = 101.844, 95% CI 29.076 ~ 356.726, P < < 0.001). ROC analysis demonstrated superior predictive efficacy of SUA/Scr (AUC = 0.840, cutoff 5.35, sensitivity 80.60%, specificity 75.20%) compared to SUA or Scr alone. SUA/Scr is closely associated with coronary lesion severity and serves as an independent predictor with valuable clinical utility.
