This paper discusses about the role of language and literature in the development of Nation. Literature and language have a major effect on the developing of nation. Literature portrays human life in all perspective and mirrors the life of people and nation. Language and literature play an important role in building of nation. Literature is the mirror of society, reflecting its values, culture and also tradition. Literature and language inspire creativity, critical thinking and intellectual growth. Language encourages by fostering deep human connections, enabling culture understanding and offering new way of thinking. Nation stays together when citizens share in a values and preferences and communicate with each other. Literature and language play a vital role in shaping the identity, Value and unity of Nation. Therefore, this paper explores that language and literature can be used as roadmap to national development.
