Abstract In the 21st century, the rapid development of digital technologies has significantly transformed the structure and functioning of libraries. The concept of Libraries 2.0 reflects a shift from traditional library systems to modern, technology-driven, and user-centered information services. This research paper explores how digital transformation has influenced libraries in terms of access, services, user engagement, and management. It highlights the growing importance of digital resources such as e-books, online databases, and virtual services. The paper also examines the role of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and data analytics in enhancing library operations. Along with the benefits, the study discusses major challenges such as the digital divide, lack of digital literacy, and concerns related to data privacy. The changing role of librarians as facilitators of digital knowledge is also emphasized. The paper concludes that libraries must continuously adapt to technological advancements to remain relevant and effective in supporting education, research, and lifelong learning in the digital age.
