HRMARS - This study focuses on the young teachers at Sichuan Vocational College of Commerce. As the backbone of the college's faculty, their professional competence is directly related to the college's talent training quality, discipline construction level, and core school-running competitiveness. Adopting a mixed research method combining focus group interviews and questionnaires, this study integrates the advantages of qualitative and quantitative analysis. Seventy-five young teachers with different teaching experiences and professional orientations are selected as research subjects. Through questionnaires, a comprehensive understanding of the current status, influencing factors, and demand appeals of their professional competence development is obtained, so as to accurately identify the core dilemmas affecting young teachers' professional development, covering dimensions such as training systems, teaching and research support, incentive mechanisms, and career planning. Based on the research results, practical and feasible solutions are put forward targeting, aiming to improve the college's young teacher career development management system, establish a scientific, efficient and demand-oriented development incentive mechanism for young teachers, build a growth platform for them to help them rapidly improve their professional abilities, and provide a reference model for the construction of young teacher teams in similar vocational colleges.
